They are like england, havent won the world cup in years! and they only won the euros because they scraped past Italy on penalties, shouldnt the favourites should be brazil becuase theyve won it the most then France should be the second favourites?

dean purple gives shit answers. So Greece won euro 2004 and they didnt even qualify for 2006.
I mean Spain have never got to a semi final. I think the dutch should be the favourites the are frightening. With Van Persie they could win it. I mean 2 lost finals in a row in 74 and 78 and just narrowely getting knocked out in the semis in 98. This will be the year.
Becasue they have got two worlds great midfielder Xavi and Iniesta, Two great striker, Torres and Villa, Best goalkipper, Kasillas, Great defender Piyol. So they are strong in every position.
cos their passing are SOLID, as in EURO 2008…but the ball is round, ANYTHING can happen…
Spain and Brazil are going to both be favourites. Simply because the squad Spain has is immense. They recently just won Euro, showing they are capable of now producing at times when it matters the most. They may have scraped through on penalties against Italy but had lost to them on the past on that specific date twice on penalties too. End of the day they beat Italy and avoided that curse they have had on them. Brazil are also favourites because of the fitness of their players. They have also been playing brilliantly recently and were on fire in qualifications for this. They have had so much competition in the squad that players like Ronaldinho and Pato could not get in. Manchester United have won the premiership the most time but Chelsea were still favourites last season, possibly because of the squad. Why do you feel that France should be second favourites? They were very fortunate to get through thanks to Thierry Henry. They got to the final in the world cup but the squad they have this time has changed quite significantly. Once again, bookies feel that Spain and Brazil are the favourites, if you have a hunch that maybe Brazil or France have a shot, place a bet on it. I personally think this could be Argentina’s year or maybe even Ivory Coast. Anyways, have a good day sir, hope you enjoy the football that is starting soon.
Because they won Euro 2008. Forget about them.
they’re playing great
44 wins in 47 games and one defeat. Champions of Europe in 2008 and ranked #2 in the Fifa world rankings. That would be enough to make any team favourites. Add in the fact that individually, they have some of the most talented players in the world in every position, they are the bookmakers’ favourite at the moment. You do have a point about past experience though. Spain have never won the world cup, and that could count against them. Still though, their team is just outstanding so it’s hard to see any team capable of beating them.
